Engineering Surveyor – Civil / Rail / Transport Infrastructure | Sydney NSW
We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our client’s team in Sydney, supporting the delivery of civil, rail, and transport infrastructure projects across the region.
This is a full-time role suited to surveyors with strong construction surveying experience, accurate set-out capability, and a solid understanding of civil infrastructure project delivery.

You will provide accurate survey support across active infrastructure projects, working closely with project engineers, supervisors, and construction teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering surveys including set-out, control, as-built, and verification surveys
- Support the delivery of civil, rail, and transport infrastructure projects across Sydney
- Interpret construction drawings, design models, and technical specifications
- Establish and maintain survey control networks
- Prepare survey data, reports, and site documentation
- Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams
- Use modern survey equipment to support accurate and efficient project delivery
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external project stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience as an Engineering Surveyor on civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong set-out experience across roads, rail, drainage, earthworks, utilities, or structures
- Experience on rail or transport infrastructure projects highly desirable
- Local Australian project experience highly desirable
- Proficiency with modern survey equipment such as Total Station and GPS
- Relevant qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid driver’s licence
