About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established contractor delivering major civil and electrical utilities infrastructure projects across Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil and electrical utilities infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Develop pricing strategies and accurate quantity take-offs.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in tender review meetings and client discussions.
- Prepare tender clarifications and supporting documentation.
- Assist with project handovers to delivery teams.
- Maintain estimating databases and pricing benchmarks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Estimator within civil or electrical utilities infrastructure.
- Strong local Australian estimating experience.
- Proven success preparing competitive tenders for infrastructure projects.
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and contract documentation.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Ability to work to strict tender deadlines.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
