J428 – Project Engineer | FIFO | Queensland

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client’s team on a FIFO basis across Queensland.

Working on major road infrastructure projects, you’ll be responsible for supporting project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong DTMR (or equivalent road authority) experience and a proven background in pavement rehabilitation or stabilisation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, RFIs, ITPs and QA records.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Support construction planning and daily site operations.
• Identify and manage project risks and technical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer within civil infrastructure.
• Demonstrated DTMR experience or experience delivering projects for a similar road authority.
• Proven experience delivering pavement rehabilitation and/or pavement stabilisation projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on a 10:4 FIFO roster.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
