About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of sewer and water pipeline works across Melbourne.

Working closely with the project delivery team, you will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

This is an initial 4-month contract offering competitive contract rates based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day sewer and water pipeline construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site crews, plant, equipment and materials.
• Plan and sequence works to support programme requirements.
• Monitor excavation, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling and associated civil works.
• Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Support quality documentation, inspections and construction records.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor within civil construction.
• Demonstrated experience delivering sewer and water pipeline projects.
• Strong understanding of pipeline construction, excavation and associated civil works.
• Experience coordinating construction crews, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Strong site planning and sequencing capabilities.
• Sound understanding of civil construction safety and quality requirements.
• Full Australian working rights.
