About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our client’s team in Canberra, ACT.
This opportunity is suited to a surveyor with at least two years of experience working across civil infrastructure projects. You will provide site-based surveying support to project delivery teams, completing set-out, as-built surveys, data collection and other surveying activities required for the successful delivery of civil works.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete engineering and construction surveying activities across civil infrastructure projects.
- Carry out accurate site set-out for civil works.
- Complete as-built surveys and maintain accurate survey records.
- Interpret construction drawings, plans and project specifications.
- Undertake survey data collection, processing and reporting.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors and construction teams.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure appropriate calibration and accuracy.
- Support quality assurance and project documentation requirements.
- Ensure surveying activities comply with project safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Engineering Surveying experience.
- Demonstrated experience working on civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience with construction set-out and as-built surveying.
- Ability to interpret civil construction drawings and specifications.
- Competency with modern surveying equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
- Australian working rights, including eligible Working Holiday Visa holders.
- Current driver’s licence.
