Project Engineer – Utilities | DIDO | Regional South Australia

We’re looking for a skilled Project Engineer with utilities experience to join a client’s team working on civil infrastructure projects across Regional South Australia. This DIDO role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on project delivery and working in regional environments.

About the Role

Location: Regional South Australia (Drive-In, Drive-Out)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: AUD $110,000 – $140,000 + Super

Additional benefits: Accomodation and Food allowance provided

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of utilities packages on active infrastructure projects. From cost tracking to subcontractor coordination, you’ll ensure smooth operations and timely results across complex regional works.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations related to utilities construction

• Coordinate subcontractors and internal resources on-site

• Track budgets, schedules, and project deliverables

• Review technical drawings and implement engineering solutions

• Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards

• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in utilities infrastructure (e.g. water, sewer, electrical)

• Experience managing regional project delivery

• Solid understanding of construction practices and cost controls

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites in regional SA

• Must have full Australian working rights
