We’re seeking a knowledgeable Estimator with hands-on experience in civil infrastructure and asphalt projects to join a client’s team in Victoria. You’ll shape cost-effective solutions for surfacing works while collaborating closely with project delivery teams.

Salary Range: AUD $90,000 – $110,000 + Super

Responsibilities

• Prepare precise estimates for asphalt and resurfacing works

• Analyse project scopes, drawings, and specifications for cost planning

• Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers

• Develop BOQs, trade breakdowns, and cost summaries

• Support tender submissions and contribute to bid reviews

• Maintain and refine historical cost databases

• Utilise estimating tools—familiarity with Benchmark software is a strong advantage

Requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience estimating asphalt and surfacing projects

• Demonstrated knowledge of bitumen-construction methods

• Proficiency in Benchmark estimating software is highly desirable

• Excellent numerical accuracy and analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Full Australian working rights
