Junior & Senior Estimator – Civil Construction | Gold Coast, Queensland

We’re seeking both Junior (2+ years) and Senior Estimators (5+ years) with experience in civil construction—including piling, retention, drainage, earthworks, or utilities—to join a growing team on the Gold Coast. Salary (Junior): AUD $90,000 – $120,000 + Super

Salary (Senior): AUD $130,000 – $167,500 + Super

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for civil infrastructure projects involving piling, retention, drainage, earthworks, and utilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and technical specifications

• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes

• Develop BOQs, trade breakdowns, cost summaries, and tender submissions

• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and procurement during pre-construction

• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing

• Coach and mentor team members (Senior role) and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Junior Estimator: Minimum 2 years’ experience estimating in civil infrastructure

• Senior Estimator: Minimum 5 years’ experience, with proven leadership skills in project estimation

• Experience in piling, retention walls, drainage, earthworks, or utilities required

• Proficiency with estimating tools and software

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills

• Prior experience on Civil infrastructure projects essential

• Sponsorship available for candidates with strong, relevant local experience

• Full working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship
