Site Engineers & Project Engineers – Civil & Roads | Adelaide SA (Night Shifts – Contract)

We’re seeking Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our client’s team delivering road and civil infrastructure projects in Adelaide. This is a contract role (9–12 months) (Full-time role available depending on candidate experience) with night shifts exclusively, ideal for engineers looking to build their careers on large-scale road projects.

You’ll play a key role in managing on-site operations during night works, ensuring quality, safety, and delivery targets are met across road and civil projects. Experience with DIT specifications is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate road and civil construction works during night shifts

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and DIT specifications

  • Manage subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure smooth delivery

  • Monitor quality control, site safety, and environmental compliance

  • Track progress, prepare reports, and provide feedback to project managers

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and cost monitoring

  • Contribute to resolving on-site technical and delivery issues

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in civil or road construction projects

  • Demonstrated site engineering/project engineering experience

  • Knowledge of DIT specifications highly desirable

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently during night shifts

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • Full Australian working rights
