We’re seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our client’s team in Brisbane, overseeing the delivery of utilities and infrastructure projects. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a leading civil contractor delivering complex projects across Queensland.

As Civil Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for coordinating site crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. You’ll report directly to the Project Manager and play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring WHS compliance on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations on utilities and infrastructure projects

• Manage subcontractors, plant, and labour to meet schedule and budget targets

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSEQ policies and standards

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to confirm compliance and accuracy

• Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and safety inspections

• Monitor progress, report on site performance, and implement corrective actions as needed

• Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and clients to resolve site issues

• Support mentoring and development of site teams and operators

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor in utilities, water, sewer, or infrastructure projects

• Proven leadership and coordination skills managing civil crews and subcontractors

• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, safety procedures, and quality control

• Experience reading and interpreting civil drawings and technical documents

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• White Card required; additional WHS or leadership certifications desirable

• Full Australian working rights
