Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 + Super (DOE)

You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions specifically for FRP-heavy civil projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete methodologies to ensure accurate pricing and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for FRP packages including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works

Analyse project drawings, specifications, and documentation to identify scope and cost drivers

Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source accurate pricing

Evaluate risks, value engineering options, and construction methodologies

Participate in tender reviews and support negotiation processes

Maintain accurate estimating records, databases, and cost histories

Collaborate with project teams for handover, planning, and cost validation
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience estimating FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) civil projects

Strong understanding of structural concrete works, reinforcement schedules, and formwork systems

Experience in civil infrastructure, bridges, structures, or major concrete works

Proficiency with estimating software and advanced Excel

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a tendering team

Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
