Salary Range: AUD $120,000 – $160,000 yearly (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join our esteemed client’s team in Sydney. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in civil infrastructure to lead and manage on-site operations effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including labor, subcontractors, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and site records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
• Implement and monitor construction programs, schedules, and milestones.
• Manage resource allocation and resolve any on-site conflicts or challenges.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction supervision, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple tasks effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and construction industry standards.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in handling project schedules and budgets.
• A relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management is preferred.
