Position: Safety Advisor
Location: Adelaide
Type: Full Time – Local and FIFO option available
Salary Range: AUD $115,000 – $145,000 yearly (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking Safety Advisors to join our client’s team in Adelaide. Multiple positions are available, including local and (FIFO) opportunities. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience in the construction sector. Experience in piling and marine construction projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Provide safety training and inductions to employees and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all safety documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in the construction sector.
- Demonstrated experience in piling and marine construction projects is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian safety legislation and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and promote a positive safety culture.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational skills.
