Contract Administrator – Civil Construction | Brisbane QLD
We’re seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our client’s team in Brisbane, supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across Queensland.
This is a full-time opportunity suited to a commercially focused professional with experience in contract administration within the civil construction sector.
About the Role
Location: Brisbane, Queensland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 + Super
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in managing project contracts, payment claims, and commercial processes to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and manage subcontractor agreements
- Assess and process progress claims and variations
- Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Support procurement and supplier engagement
- Manage RFIs, contract documentation, and project records
- Ensure contractual compliance across project activities
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in contract administration within civil construction
- Experience in civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities, etc.)
- Strong understanding of contract administration and cost control
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying desirable
- Full Australian working rights
