We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client’s team in Brisbane, working across civil, road, and subdivision projects. This full-time role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to develop within a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline throughout Queensland.

The successful candidate will assist in preparing tenders, cost estimates, and pricing submissions for upcoming civil projects. You’ll work closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure bids are accurate, compliant, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil, road, and subdivision projects

• Analyse plans, specifications, and project documents to identify cost risks and opportunities

• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations

• Maintain estimating databases and cost records

• Liaise with engineers, designers, and project managers during the bid process

• Contribute to tender reviews, value engineering, and budgeting

• Support contract negotiations and project handovers when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in civil, road, or subdivision projects

• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and cost structures

• Local experience in Queensland highly desirable

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying

• Full Australian working rights
