HSE Advisor – Civil & Infrastructure Projects | Adelaide SA
We’re seeking an experienced HSE advisor to join our client’s team in Adelaide, supporting the safe delivery of roads, drainage, earthworks, and subdivision projects. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary package of up to $145,000 + Super, depending on experience.

Salary Range: Up to $145,000 + Super (DOE)
You will be responsible for implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental systems across active civil projects. This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring site safety and compliance on large-scale infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee HSE systems, procedures, and compliance across road, drainage, earthworks, and subdivision projects

Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain safe work practices

Lead inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site staff and subcontractors

Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes

Ensure adherence to WHS and environmental legislation and company standards

Maintain accurate HSE documentation, registers, and reporting systems

Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to drive safety culture across sites
Requirements
-
3–5 years of experience in HSE roles within civil construction projects

Background in roads, drainage, earthworks, or subdivision works highly regarded
-
Certificate or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification)

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance, and risk management practices

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to engage with project teams and subcontractors
