HSEQ Advisor – Construction Projects | Brisbane QLD
We’re seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join our client’s team in Brisbane, supporting safety, environment, and quality performance across active construction projects.
This role is open to junior and intermediate candidates with experience working in construction environments and a strong interest in developing their HSEQ career.
About the Role
Location: Brisbane, Queensland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $130,000 + Super
You will work closely with project teams, supervisors, and management to maintain safe work practices, support compliance, and promote a positive safety culture across construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of HSEQ systems across construction projects
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation, registers, SWMS, and compliance records
- Support toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and site safety performance
- Assist with quality and environmental reporting requirements
- Work with project teams to drive continuous improvement in safety culture
Requirements
- Experience in an HSEQ, HSE, Safety Advisor, or Safety Coordinator role
- Background working with construction companies
- Junior and intermediate candidates encouraged to apply
- Good understanding of WHS legislation and site safety practices
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and proactive attitude
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
