We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client’s project delivery team in Melbourne on a 4 to 5-month contract.

This opportunity is suited to a civil engineer with at least three years of site-based experience across civil construction, retaining structures and structural infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil, retaining and structural construction activities
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and day-to-day site interfaces
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, RFIs, quality records and project documentation
• Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
• Monitor construction progress, costs and upcoming work activities
• Assist the project team in resolving technical and site-based issues

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least three years of Project Engineer or Site Engineer experience
• Experience across civil, retaining wall or structural infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and construction methodologies
• Effective communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Full Australian working rights and availability for the contract period
