We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a client’s project delivery team in Melbourne. This contract opportunity will suit a civil construction professional with strong experience delivering drainage, earthworks, pavement and asphalt works.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of drainage, earthworks, pavement and asphalt activities.
• Develop construction methodologies, work plans and short-term programmes.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, plant, labour and materials across the project.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain RFIs, ITPs, quality records, progress reports and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, programme performance and construction progress.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Engineer on Australian civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience across drainage, earthworks, pavements and asphalt works.
• Sound knowledge of construction planning, quality assurance and project controls.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
