J423 -Electrical Project Engineer | Western Australia
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our client’s team on a 4-month contract supporting a major project in Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to play a key role in delivering site-based electrical works. You’ll work closely with the construction leadership team, providing engineering support, coordinating site activities and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About the Role
As the Electrical Project Engineer, you will provide onsite engineering support throughout the construction phase of the project. Working alongside experienced project and site personnel, you’ll assist with planning, coordination and delivery of electrical installation works while maintaining strong safety, quality and programme outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for onsite electrical construction activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site resources.
- Monitor project progress against programme and assist with planning activities.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Manage RFIs, inspections and project documentation.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with quality and safety requirements.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to support efficient project delivery.
- Assist with procurement, material tracking and site reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and commissioning activities.
- Experience working on remote or FIFO projects is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary construction team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
