We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our client’s growing civil infrastructure team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects, supporting construction teams with accurate survey control, set-out and as-built surveys across a range of civil works. Negotiable rates are available based on experience.

About the Role
As an Engineering Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering major civil infrastructure projects by providing precise survey information throughout all stages of construction. You’ll work closely with engineers, supervisors and project managers to ensure works are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform construction set-out using Total Stations and GPS equipment.
- Complete as-built surveys and prepare survey deliverables.
- Establish and maintain survey control networks.
- Interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Verify levels, alignments and dimensions throughout construction.
- Support earthworks, drainage, roads, structures and utilities installation.
- Maintain survey records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Engineering Surveyor on civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience using Leica, Trimble or equivalent survey equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction set-out and as-built surveying.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Current driver’s licence.
