Our client is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with proven ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) experience to join their team in Melbourne.

You’ll be working across a variety of ITS-related civil works, including trenching, conduit installation, ITS pit installation, and cabinet installation. In future stages of the project, you’ll also manage light pole installation and the delivery of ITS devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee trenching, conduit installs, pit installs, and cabinet works for ITS systems

• Support future installation of light poles and ITS devices across active projects

• Review drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate delivery

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams for smooth project execution

• Monitor daily progress, safety compliance, and project documentation

• Report to project managers on schedules, budgets, and risks

• Ensure all works comply with WHS and environmental standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years’ civil construction experience with strong focus on ITS projects

• Demonstrated knowledge of trenching, conduits, pits, and cabinet installation

• Ability to manage light pole and ITS device installations an advantage

• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification

• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site operations
