We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to support a major substation upgrade in Adelaide. This is a 12-week contract, ideal for engineers with strong substation experience.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering leadership for substation upgrade works

Review and interpret electrical and civil design documentation

Coordinate daily site activities with contractors and suppliers

Monitor project progress, budget, and quality targets

Ensure adherence to WHS, environmental and electrical standards

Rapidly identify and resolve technical issues to minimise delays

Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation
Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience on substation or high-voltage electrical projects

Proven ability to work on substations, including technical oversight and coordination

Strong skills in interpreting electrical and engineering drawings

Excellent on-site communication and stakeholder coordination

Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction site environment
