We’re looking for highly experienced Senior Engineering Surveyors to join our client’s growing team, with opportunities available in Melbourne, Adelaide, or Brisbane. This full-time position offers the chance to work on landmark civil infrastructure projects across multiple states.

As a Senior Engineering Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing high-precision surveying support across infrastructure projects funded by local, state, and federal programs. You’ll play a key role in project delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee complex engineering surveys for civil and infrastructure projects

• Manage site survey teams and ensure accuracy of field data

• Develop and maintain 12D models, surface designs, and as-built documentation

• Set out works, establish control networks, and verify construction alignment

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes

• Ensure survey data meets quality, compliance, and safety standards

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior surveyors

• Liaise with clients, authorities, and design teams to ensure survey deliverables meet project requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in engineering surveying, including major infrastructure projects

• GCA Certified or Registered Surveyor (SBQ) qualification required

• Extensive experience using 12D software and other modern survey systems

• Advanced understanding of civil design, set-out, and geospatial data management

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
