We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a growing civil contractor delivering major water and sewer infrastructure projects across Brisbane.
This role is ideal for a strong delivery professional with proven experience managing utilities packages, pipelines, and associated civil works.
About the Role
You will play a key leadership role in delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will drive both operational and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and construction resources
- Oversee construction programs and sequencing
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Manage QA documentation, ITPs, and compliance processes
- Monitor project performance including cost, schedule, and quality
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and utilities stakeholders
- Mentor engineers and site personnel
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Strong background in civil construction and utilities
- Experience in pipelines, pump stations, and wastewater assets highly regarded
- Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to manage project programming and commercial performance
- Civil Engineering qualification preferred
- Full Australian working rights
