Senior Quantity Surveyor – Sydney NSW

We’re searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 7+ years of experience—ideally on civil infrastructure projects—to join our client’s commercial team in Sydney.

Location: Sydney, New South Wales

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary Range: DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities for large-scale projects

• Manage tender documentation, commercial evaluations, and subcontractor quotes

• Carry out cost planning, risk analysis, and value engineering strategies

• Track project budgets, variations, and cost forecasts throughout delivery

• Support claims, valuations, and contractual negotiations where required

• Project Procurement including Sub-contractors. 

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification

• Experience in civil infrastructure projects is highly desirable but not required

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills

• Experience with estimating or cost software is an advantage

• Full working rights in Australia
