We’re hiring a Site Engineer to join a respected civil contractor delivering infrastructure works in Bundaberg, Queensland. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in civil, earthworks, drainage, or utilities, looking to step up in a supportive site-based team.

Salary Range: AUD $90,000 – $115,000 + Super (based on experience)

You’ll play a key part in delivering day-to-day site operations and supporting project progress, compliance, and coordination across active infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil works on-site, including utilities and earthworks

• Review drawings, specifications and ensure works align with construction methodology

• Assist in preparing site reports, progress tracking and cost monitoring

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain workflow

• Monitor safety, environmental, and quality compliance throughout the build

• Support the Site and Project Manager with technical input and problem solving

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in civil infrastructure (civil, earthworks, drainage, or utilities)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently on active construction sites

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Local Australian experience is essential

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar

• Full working rights in Australia
