Site Engineers & Project Engineers – Civil, FRP & Pavement Infrastructure | Melbourne VIC (Contract Role)

We’re seeking experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our client’s team in Melbourne on a short-term contract basis, supporting the delivery of key civil infrastructure, FRP (Form, Reo, Pour), and pavement projects in Melbourne.

This opportunity suits engineers who can quickly integrate into active construction sites and contribute immediately to project delivery.

You will support site delivery teams, ensuring construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day delivery of civil, FRP, and pavement infrastructure works

• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials, and site activities

• Assist with preparation and management of ITPs, QA documentation, and site records

• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work methodologies

• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress and quality compliance

• Assist with short-term programming and daily planning activities

• Monitor safety, environmental, and quality requirements on site

• Support reporting, progress tracking, and issue resolution

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on civil infrastructure projects

• Background in civil construction, FRP, Tunnelling or pavement works essential

• CRCP Pavement experience highly regarded but not mandatory

• Strong understanding of QA processes, specifications, and site controls

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• Full Australian working rights
