Site Engineer – Civil, Roads & Drainage | Contract Role
We’re seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our client’s team on a 2-month contract, with potential for extension. This role is suited to an engineer with strong experience across civil construction, roadworks, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
An RIW card is required, and candidates must be available to work day and night shifts as required.

Salary / Rate: Competitive, DOE

You will support the delivery of civil and road infrastructure works, coordinating site activities, managing documentation, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily delivery of civil, roadworks, and drainage projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, site crews, plant, and materials
- Prepare and manage ITPs, RFIs, QA documentation, and site records
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
- Monitor site progress, sequencing, safety, and quality compliance
- Assist with drainage works, road construction, and associated civil packages
- Liaise with supervisors, project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Support day and night shift operations as required
- Ensure compliance with rail safety, WHS, environmental, and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Engineer in civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in roads, drainage, and civil works
- RIW card required
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Strong understanding of QA processes, ITPs, RFIs, and site documentation
- Ability to interpret civil drawings and technical specifications
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent
- Full Australian working rights
