Site Engineer / Project Engineer – Civil & Water Utilities | DIDO ex-Adelaide

We’re seeking a Site Engineer (Project Engineers also encouraged to apply) to join our client’s team on major civil and water utilities projects. This role is based on a DIDO roster ex-Adelaide, offering excellent conditions including 20% uplift + meal allowance.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience across civil infrastructure, water pipelines, utilities, or related construction projects.

Compensation: Base Salary + 20% uplift + Meal Allowance

Employment Type: Full-Time

You will support delivery of essential water infrastructure works across regional project locations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of field activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day construction activities on civil and water utilities projects

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and short-term programs

• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and construction crews

• Review drawings, specifications, and technical requirements

• Manage QA documentation, ITPs, testing, and compliance checks

• Conduct site inspections and ensure safety and environmental standards

• Prepare progress reports, site records, and engineering documentation

• Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and external stakeholders

• Support cost tracking, procurement, and project forecasting

Requirements

• Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer

• Background in civil construction, water utilities, pipelines, or infrastructure

• Ability to manage site coordination on remote rosters (FIFO/DIDO)

• Strong understanding of QA, safety, and environmental processes

• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field

• Full Australian working rights

• Ability to work 5/2 or 10/4 rotations ex-Adelaide
