Position: Senior Project Engineer | Project Manager – FIFO Opportunity in Regional NSW

Employment Type: FIFO, 2 weeks on, 1 week off

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join our client’s team on a FIFO basis in the Snowy Mountains (Regional NSW). Your proficiency in underground concrete structures and tunnel lining projects will be vital to the project’s success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the civil engineering project with an emphasis on underground concrete structures.
• Execute precise concrete tunnel lining projects.
• Employ DOKA or TFI traveling formwork systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to meet project standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 or more years of experience as a Civil Project Engineer.
• Expertise in concrete tunnel lining projects.
• Proficiency with DOKA or TFI formwork systems is essential.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work on a FIFO schedule in the Snowy Mountains.

• Full-time position
• Duration: 18-24 months
