About the Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our client’s construction team in Coffs Harbour. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in civil and piling construction projects, looking to contribute to high-impact developments while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to align with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and propose corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and onboarding programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near-misses, providing comprehensive reports with recommendations.
- Work closely with site teams to integrate proactive safety measures into daily operations.
- Monitor compliance with safety legislation, keeping records up to date and addressing potential risks.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety coordination role within civil and piling construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety regulations.

- Relevant OHS qualification or equivalent safety certification.
