About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Contract Administrator to join our client’s team in Ballarat. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about civil infrastructure and eager to grow their careers with a leading team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for civil infrastructure projects.
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
- Monitor project costs, identify variances, and provide regular financial reports.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with financial objectives and timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date records of project costs, contracts, and changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or contract administration within civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and cost control.
- Proficiency in using estimating software is highly regarded.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Local Australian experience is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
