Salary Range: AUD $120,000 – $160,000 yearly (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are hiring a skilled Civil Supervisor to join our client’s team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with extensive experience in civil infrastructure to lead site operations and deliver outstanding project results.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and on-site staff.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Address challenges promptly to maintain efficiency and productivity on-site.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in civil construction supervision, particularly in infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve on-site challenges proactively.
• Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate with all project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction software and technology is advantageous.
• A qualification in civil engineering or construction management is preferred but not essential.
